Possible effects of climate change, effects of climate change on flora and nectar resources, effects of global climate change on beekeeping, effects of climate change on bee health and bee resistance, problems that may arise due to climate change and suggestions for adaptation

Panel 2:
BEE HEALTH AND COLONY MANAGEMENT
Healthy bee breeding, factors deteriorating bee health, colony management techniques, number of hives, increase in productivity in the hive, effects of inputs used in breeding on bee health, improper feeding, premix and drug use

Panel 3:
HONEY QUALITY
Honey value chain, fake honey, adulteration, NMR analyses

Panel 4:
LEGAL REGULATIONS IN BEEKEEPING AND MARKETING OF BEE PRODUCTS
Beekeeping regulation, honey decision criteria, beekeeping supports, ınput costs, foreign trade, marketing problems, new marketing strategies

Dear Colleagues,

“8th International MUĞLA Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress” will be held between 24 – 27 November 2024 at Grand Yazici Turban Hotel, Marmaris.

During the congress, all shareholders of the sector on the international level, providing theoretical information to our beekeepers, and increasing their experience in the related fields is aimed. In line with this purpose, guests will be encouraged to stay overnight as in our previous congress, and a camp atmosphere that is open to discussion and share of ideas on the technical and economic problems of beekeeping in Turkey and the World with the participation of national and international delegation, who are experts in their fields, and beekeepers.

In addition to invited speakers, abstract submissions made for the scientific topics decided by the Scientific Committee will be evaluated carefully and accepted verbally and/or as poster for the “8th International Muğla Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress”.

Scientific topics will be presented in the main meeting hall before the noon, and then different subjects will be discussed interactively in parallel sessions as a second part in the afternoon. All participants will be able to meet each other and share their knowledge at international level.

An exhibition will be organized concurrently with the congress, which national and international companies that are active in the beekeeping sector may open stands to present their products and studies. It is one of the most important responsibilities of the congress organizing committee to become a bridge for starting long-term commercial activities between regional business owners and executives of the international companies who want to create a business connection, whether they have a stand or not.

“8th International Muğla Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress” will be held at Grand Yazıcı Turban Hotel located in Marmaris which is chosen as the most beautiful beach of the world in the past. Besides the congress program, it will also provide a perfect holiday experience for all participants in order to relieve the tiredness of the year.

We are glad to inform you that we will be honoured to welcome you in “8th International Muğla Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress” that will be held between November 24-27, 2024 in which technical and economic problems and solution methods of beekeeping of our country and the world will be discussed and Muğla pine honey will be promoted at domestic and international levels with more than 2.000 participants.
